Literacy through Play: The Play to Read Program
Learning to read should be fun—and that’s exactly what our Play to Read curriculum delivers. This phonics-based program helps children become confident readers and spellers through hands-on play with materials they love: blocks, playdough, beads, action figures, and more.
Your child will:
- Decode nearly all short-vowel, single-syllable words
- Recognize and apply spelling patterns and phonetic rules
- Increase reading speed and accuracy
- Build confidence by reading real books from the library
All while avoiding the boredom of traditional, repetitive lessons.
Math & STEM: Every Day Math at TACK
Our in-house Every Day Math program combines hands-on exploration with real-world application through Project-Based Learning (PBL).
Students learn to:
- Build number sense and understand early operations
- Explore shapes and measurement through practical, engaging projects
- Solve real-life problems using math, science, and engineering tools
- Think critically and creatively in our daily Problem Solving Circle
